I’ve devoted more than a decade to solving some of healthcare’s hardest problems using technology. At Dascena, we developed machine learning models that predicted complex conditions and were deployed in some of the largest health systems in the United States. At Forta, we built the largest telehealth autism provider in the country, scaling access to care for families who were otherwise denied timely care.
The consistent lesson was this: the algorithms worked, but the system did not. Patients still found themselves trapped in referral loops, repeat testing, and paperwork. The “last mile” of healthcare — the point where patients experience the system — has not kept pace with the technology and innovation reshaping countless other industries.
That’s why I founded Tala Health: to reimagine the healthcare experience from the ground up.
